@TheSouthernMS Tried that with my 12hp, didn’t work, wasn’t enough power. then i tried a 25hp v-tiwn, belts slipped, best set-up is aroud 50mph, when ur going that fast? on a lawnmower it feels like 80, and it doesn’t take 5 mins to get there. LOL

), there’s no slipping with chains, the pulleys are low geared so they will not ether! Keep in mind the higher gear ratio the more torque you need, aka v-twin, apposing twin or more hp etc! Let me and all? the views know if it worked I’m going to build it soon!

If anyone wants speed out of a mower I have a solution, I haven’t made it yet but, I know it will work! Take a stock mower, take off the tires put a sprocket on instead of tires then put a live axle on the back or somewhere it fits, link the? transaxle sprockets and the live axle sprockets, change the gear ratios around to suit your needs (transaxle large sprocket and live axle small sprocket for speed),

@TheSouthernMS The bigger the tires the faster it goes! That’s a hydrostatic transaxle and the big tires limit how far I can? push the pedal down, lol. (The pedal hits the tire), I welded the rims to the lawn mower rims and then cut the fenders off.
